Sharon Herman

Sharon Herman is a Managing Legal Assistant and Administrative Assistant to Howard M. Talenfeld, in Kelley Kronenberg’s Justice for Kids Division, a national practice dedicated to providing legal services to abused, disabled, and catastrophically injured children harmed in foster care, shelters, residential treatment centers, group homes, and other child welfare settings, as well as all children harmed by the acts of others. In this role, Sharon serves as the intake coordinator and is often the first caring voice when potential clients reach out to the office, making each person feel supported in their situation and guiding them through the intake process.

Sharon has been working with Howard Talenfeld since 2015 and brings over 30 years of legal experience to her position. She provides crucial support to attorneys handling a wide range of administrative and organizational tasks to ensure smooth operation of the division. Sharon manages schedules, prepares documents, conducts research, and communicates with clients and other legal professionals. She also oversees the Legal Assistants, ensuring quality control of work and mentoring them. Prior to joining Justice for Kids, Sharon worked as a legal secretary handling guardianship, probate and will matters, and before that served as a legal secretary in personal injury, medical malpractice, and nursing home negligence cases. She also has experience in bankruptcy and family law matters. Throughout her career, Sharon has consistently demonstrated expertise in managing attorney calendars, scheduling appointments and hearings, organizing client files, and maintaining contact with clients and opposing counsel.

Sharon’s dedication and compassion make her an integral part of the Justice for Kids team, helping clients navigate complex issues while her empathy and efficiency lay the foundation for the division’s work focusing on the rights and interests of children who have been abused and neglected.
