Sara DeSouza
Sara DeSouza is a Legal Assistant in Kelley Kronenberg’s Justice for Kids Division, a national practice dedicated to providing legal services to abused, disabled, and catastrophically injured children harmed in foster care, shelters, residential treatment centers, group homes, and other child welfare settings, as well as all children harmed by the acts of others. In this role, Sara provides essential legal support to ensure comprehensive case management.
Sara has extensive experience in the legal field spanning over 20 years. She has worked in various areas including insurance defense, civil and appellate litigation, probate litigation, estate planning, and real estate litigation. Her responsibilities include drafting and transcribing correspondence and pleadings, coordinating office conferences, telephone conferences, hearings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations. Sara builds and maintains client contact and management, performs administrative duties, and maintains both physical and digital files. Sara previously worked as an early childhood education teacher, aftercare counselor, and camp counselor.
Sara earned her Associate of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from Brevard Community College, now known as Eastern Florida State College.
Active in the community, Sara currently serves as President of the Board of Directors for Broward Wildcats Band Boosters Association. She has volunteered with various organizations including serving as an election assistant and poll worker, participating in diversity and inclusion committees, and supporting youth programs.
Sara is a Notary Public.
