Talenfeld Law Staff Play Santa With Holiday Gifts For Adopted Family
The staff at Talenfeld Law and JusticeForKids.us took a break from protecting the rights of South Florida injured, disabled and abused children to bring some holiday cheer to a deserving family. The staff bought and wrapped an assortment of gifts that then were delivered to a needy “adopted” family.
This was part of the 2015 Holiday Adopt-A-Family through Legal Aid Service of Broward County (LAS) and Coast to Coast Legal Aid of South Florida (CCLA). Each year, these two nonprofit organizations team up and implement the annual Holiday Adopt-A-Family project. The staff at LAS and CCLA identifies families who cannot afford a holiday celebration and matches them with an “Adopter.” This project helps families in need to have a better holiday season. This year, the staff at Talenfeld Law adopted a single mother with five children.
Each year, the firm and staff work hard to brighten the season for area families who often have little to celebrate. For almost a decade, the Talenfeld family also has hosted the annual Hanukkah Party at JAFCO. The organization provides caring homes for South Florida’s neglected or and foster kids by offering a continuum of programs and services for at-risk children and children with developmental disabilities and their families at both its Children’s Village and Ability Center sites.
Now and all year ’round, children throughout Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Boca Raton and West Palm Beach need love and attention. We’re proud to do our part to let them know we’re looking out for them.
